I haven’t done an outfit related post in so long. These photos were taken a while back when I used to randomly get inspired to dress up and ask my niece to take my photos. (Thank you Aleyley) I absolutely love this outfit and could wear it everywhere.
Is it me or do you just feel so much better about yourself when you are dressed in an awesome outfit?
Necklace: Ottoman Treasure (Thank you to my dearest friend Dee for this beautiful necklace. It is a little heavy but worth the pain because it looks amazing with everything.
Shirt: Op Shop
Skirt: David Jones
I am actually wearing a men’s jumper but I got a smaller size and folded it up to make it a “cropped” jumper. I always check the men’s section for awesome pieces like this one. It is generally cheaper and the smaller sizes are usually available.
And you have probably seen this shirt in one to many posts. So it is kinda obvious how much I love it. My favourite all time combo for all occasions would have to be:
Over sized shirt + Cropped Jumper +Pencil Skirt
Thank you to my darling friend Selda for this amazing gift. It goes perfect with everything and everyone knows I love a well structured bag with double straps. I have linked the bag below so if you are looking for an amazing laptop or uni bag, go ahead and check it out.

It has been a long time indeed. I tried to prepare blog posts for times that I knew I would be busy but it has been extremely hard. As blogging is only just a hobby, I realised that there is no point adding extra pressure on myself.
I hadn’t bought anything new in a long time. I figured it was time to add some new pieces to my wardrobe. I love watching clothing and makeup hauls on Youtube so I added my own little spin on it and decide it is only appropriate to include it on my blog. These are the items that I have bought over the past few weeks from all sorts of stores. As you can probably tell from the title, some of these items are brand new while others are second-hand.
All the items in this post were extremely affordable.
These items are from a department store in Australia known as Kmart. This store has affordable items that you actually get great wear from. Both of the jumpers below were less than $10. They are perfect for the winter weather at the moment. I was also looking for crop jumpers that I can wear over long shirts (A trend I am currently loving, over jeans and slim fit pants). These sweaters/jumpers are just perfect for that purpose.
One of my favorite second-hand stores was having a 50% off sale and I seized that opportunity to pick up some staple pieces. I have been looking for a denim skirt for some time now. I really wanted one that had buttons going down the front of it. Although this skirt is a little too big for me, it only needs a few stitches to alter it. This is one of the many things I love about buying clothes from second-hand stores. It is cheap, you find unique items and even if it does not fit you can fix it.
As I was browsing my social media, I came across a ‘Vintage Sale Warehouse’ invitation that was held really close to my house. This sale was only on certain days and I finally found an opportunity to see what all the fuss was about. It was a huge warehouse full of vintage/second-hand clothes for only $5 each. Although these are dresses, I am planning on pairing them with slim fit pants or a pencil skirt. I will definitely be including all of these pieces in future blog posts.

On Wednesday I planned to go to Queen Victoria Market with my friend for the annual ‘Night Market’. So, if you are not from Melbourne or Australia you may be asking ‘What on earth is that?’. Well, Queen Victoria Market also known as Queen Vic or Vic Market is a major landmark and tourist attraction in Melbourne, Australia. It is the largest(7 hectares) open air market in the Southern Hemisphere.
Every summer there is a Night Market held on Wednesday nights from 5 pm to 10 pm. The market “offers a unique platform for emerging designers, artists, musicians and foodies to showcase their talent at one of Melbourne’s favourite summer events.”
It is a great place to meet and hang out with your family and friends, enjoy the variety of food offered and appreciate the lovely atmosphere. There is a variety of different things to offer at this amazing event. There are numerous types of street foods from distinct cuisines such as Italian, Turkish, Danish, Korean and much much more. There are unique pieces of clothing, vintage items and handmade jewellery. Likewise there are exclusive artwork, beautifully crafted furniture, candles and makeup. My short description will not do justice to the things offered at the market.
I just wanted to offer a few tips and tricks to anyone who will attend this event or something similar.
– Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is quite a bit of walking.
– Take CASH! This is an very important thing as majority of the places do not offer card access and if there is an ATM there is definitely going to be a massive line.
– Make sure you are mentally and physically prepared to be pushed and surrounded by heaps of people. I was not feeling well so I did not have the best time as I was overwhelmed and also had an anxiety attack.
– If you are going to carry a bag, make sure it is not too heavy or too big.
These are some of the photos that I captured from the night. Overall I enjoyed myself with the delicious food and company!
