Summer Lovin’ – Floral Blazer, White Shirt & Emerald Skirt

Hi Everyone,

WOW!

I can’t believe it has been five months since my last post. What can I say, life just got in the way and blogging was thrown on the back burner. At the end of the day, blogging is my hobby and unfortunately I have not prioritized it well.

I am happy to share that I am currently employed and doing the job I love. Over the past five months, it has been difficult to balance work, school, family and friends since I have been working almost everyday. As it is approaching holiday season, I have countless special occasions coming up and I only thought it was right to share my outfits/ideas on my blog.

I had taken these photo months ago but did not want to post them without writing anything to accompany it.

I absolutely LOVE this skirt!

I can’t remember if I posted about it previously on my blog but it is a favorite.

High wasited skirts are so flattering and I believe they make me look slim. And who doesn’t want to look and feel skinny?

A white shirt like mentioned on numerous occasions is a MUST HAVE! It would be an understatement if I say it goes with everything. When wearing a collared shirt, a statement and extravagant necklace turn your outfit from day wear to evening wear in seconds.

    Blazers

If it was up to me I would wear them every day. If you have been following my blog from the start, you will know that once the word ‘Blazer’ is mentioned, my heart skips a beat. I have provided the links to my previous posts about this amazing clothing type.

Bags with double straps are the new thing. FINALLY!

Use the small straps for an elegant look and if in a rush, throw over the long straps  and run. Well that’s what happens to me.

P.S. As you can tell, most of my wardrobe is from the second hand store. I am looking into doing a post about tips and tricks to shopping at an Op shop. If you have any questions, leave them in comments!

Over-sized Shirt & Boyfriend Jeans – OOTD

Hi everyone!

This was the outfit I wore on the 25th of December (Christmas Day for many). The sun was shinning and the sky’s were clear. The weather was beautiful so I decided to spend this lovely day at my happy place which is the beach. Like I mentioned in my Styling Boyfriend Jeans & Celebrity Out Recreation my love for these jeans are out of this world. They are just so comfortable. I styled them with an over-sized shirt which is most likely a male shirt I found at the Op Shop.

By Josephine

This week was so busy yet so slow at the same time. I was not feeling extremely inspired to post anything on my blog at all.  I have so many ideas but the process of actually going ahead with them was quite daunting for some reason. I guess it was due to the amount of things I had to do especially with my course, as it is the last couple of weeks there are still a few outstanding assessments I need to complete. Thank you to my lovely friend Sarah, who gave me the belief and aspiration to blog this week. Her kind words gave me an idea for this weeks blog post. She mentioned that she loves reading reviews and seeing photos of places that people have visited. And I did exactly that!

There is a cute and elegant little cafe by the name of By Josephine, click here to visit the website. By Josephine is located at 365 Sydney Road in downtown Brunswick. The other day I was thinking about the delicious and scrumptious salted caramel macaron I had when I first visited this cafe during 2009. They have a wide variety of French delights and delicacies that are pleasing to the eye as they are delicious to the tongue. The bubbly and kind staff members offer amazing customer service which always leads to a positive experience. Small things like the decorations, arrangement of the cafe and the numerous pot plants are inviting to the eye and definitely draws the attention of the customer. The location of this cafe is in the busy part of Brunswick and has a splendid atmosphere. The employee was kind enough to allow me take photos inside this wonderful cafe and here they are: DSC_3813DSC_3817DSC_3814DSC_3797DSC_3812DSC_3811DSC_3800DSC_3803DSC_3793DSC_3787DSC_3788DSC_3804DSC_3801DSC_3767DSC_3764DSC_3774DSC_3763DSC_3778DSC_3786DSC_3796DSC_3806DSC_3805DSC_3790DSC_3792DSC_3808DSC_3807DSC_3809DSC_3779DSC_3798DSC_3771DSC_3772
